Specialist 4th Class Thomas A. Willis, 86, of Linesville, marched into his last battle on Friday, September 7, 2018.  Tom fought a gallant battle with multiple health issues like a true brave soldier he was serving just shy of 16 years in the Army.

After returning home in 1965, he worked at the Ohio Rubber Company for 34 years.  He kept 2 to 3 part-time jobs as well.

Tom was a talented cartoon artist and was always full of wit and a touch of devilment.  He had a true passion for automobiles and owned over 50 in his lifetime.  He loved working on them and giving them a paint job that caught your eye.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ansel and Florence Willis Bullis, his beloved sister, Greta Shelby, and half siblings.

He leaves behind his niece, Babe Shelby who cared and loved him deeply to the end and his cats, Scratch, Sebi and his boy Duncan who worshipped his Unc.

Tom chose to be cremated and his cremated remains placed in Babe’s garden with her mother and best friend.  He spent many days with Babe and her gardens and wanted to remain with her.

From Tommy Two Shoes to beloved Old Goat, Tom was one of a kind.  No matter how tough his life was he kept a smile on his face and loved to cheer others.  He will be missed by his dear friend Sally and all whose lives he touched.
