Patrick Dee Mihailov

Patrick D. Mihailov, 53, of Blooming Valley died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.

He was born in Guys Mills November 26, 1968 a son of Eli and Patricia Strawman Mihailov, Jr.  He married Michele in 2007 and she survives.

Pat graduated from Maplewood High School and was a Journeyman Lineman for over 30 years.  He is a proud member of IBEW Local 1319.

Pat and his wife own and operate Frost Ridge Maple Farm and they are the second largest producer in Crawford County producing over 7000 gallons of maple syrup per year.  Pat’s knowledge for maple syrup production was extended generously to other producers.  He loved to teach new techniques and help local producers with equipment and woods setup.  He was a Lapierre Equipment dealer for over 10 years.

It was often said that if he wasn’t running power lines, he was running sap lines. 

Pat enjoyed camping and water skiing at Kinzua each summer with his family.  He also enjoyed snowmobiling with family and friends.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Michele of 14 years include: four children, John and his wife Samantha, Dylan, Katey and Karlee; two grandchildren, Aden and Kennedy; his mother, Patricia; a brother, Elroy; a sister, Elizabeth and her husband Todd and niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dean and his father, Eli.

Funeral Services will be at 4:30 p.m. January 29, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 649 Park Avenue, Meadville PA, with Pastor Travis presiding.  Visiting hours are from 2:00 to 4:30 prior service.
