Obituary
John H. (Fuzzy) Ross, 79, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief cancer illness.
He was born August 23, 1943, in Cambridge, OH, a son of Charles and Lillie Ross. He married Mary Ann Shevitz Hofler Ross February 11, 2004.
Fuzzy worked in the oil field industry and subsequently as a truck driver for Ross Trucking. He loved working on cars and trucks.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Mary Ann, include two children, Scott Ross (Connie) of Ohio and Josh Ross of Conneaut Lake; two stepchildren, Shelly Hofler (Eric) of Conneaut Lake and Joe Hofler (Jill) of Conneautville; a sister, Esther Abrams of Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ernest Ross; three sisters, Virginia Meckley, Betty Whittle, and Dorothy Ryan; and a nephew, Thomas Ross.
Per his wishes, no services are planned.
